Andrew Moore Sr.

Andrew J. Moore, Sr., 77, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at his home at Pleasant Point. He was born November 22, 1930 at Pleasant Point the son of Frederick and Mary (Neptune) Moore. Andrew was known for being a hard worker, and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Andrew was predeceased by his wife Lucielle (Lola) Moore and son Raymond (Dickie) Lola. Survivors include children and spouses; Gary and Adele Moore, Elizabeth and Darren Dana all of Pleasant Point, Maria Socabasin and fiancé John Alaniz of TX., Andrew J, Moore Jr., Peter Neptune, Jr. and fiancé Lindsay Moore, and Francis Neptune all of Pleasant Point; brothers Fred, Raymond and James Moore all of Pleasant Point, grandchildren Doug and Brittani Leighton, Molly Moore, Celeste Alaniz, Hailie, and Neveah Neptune , great grandchildren Jaylen Moore and Journey Leighton, special nieces Veronica Moore of Fl. and Rose Newell of Pleasant Point, he will be missed by his special friends Barbara Newell and all his poker buddies, numerous nieces and nephews and his dog killer. Friends may call starting 2 p.m. on Friday until Monday 9 a.m at his home, 8 Back Rd., Pleasant Point. A funeral service will be held 10a.m. Monday at St. Ann Catholic Church, Pleasant Point. Burial will follow in the Tribal Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais and Eastport.
