Ann M. Bowen

Ann Marie Bowen, 53, passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, November 24, 2023.  Ann was born in Dixfield on December 14, 1969, daughter of Terry and Caroline (Wright) Frost.

Ann graduated from Dirigo High School in Dixfield and on September 5, 1986, she married Dale Bowen.  She raised their three children and worked at Food City in Mexico, ME, until moving to Eastport, where she worked for Eastport IGA.  Ann was an avid bingo player and enjoyed knitting, crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.  Ann loved her grandchildren and was looking forward to the birth of her ninth grandchild in April, 2024.

Ann was predeceased by her father Terry Frost; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Bowen, Larry and Mary Bowen, and Elaine Bowen.  Surviving are her mother Caroline Frost of Lewiston; husband of 37 years, Dale Bowen Sr.; three children, Daleen Neptune and husband Ben of Pleasant Point, Dale Bowen Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Eastport, and Misty Bowen and companion Kyle Johnston of Eastport; eight grandchildren, Danika, Octavius, Maleik, Chase, Conner, Cole, Liam, and Alice; sister Monica Hayes and husband Robert of Mexico; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dana and Mina Bowen of Eastport, Randy and Kelly Bowen of Calais, Steven and Brenda Bowen of Perry, and Ricky and Rhonda Bowen of Perry; and many nieces and nephews.
