Pleasant Point – Anthony Wayne LeBretton, 44, died unexpectedly Monday, July 9, 2012 due to a swimming accident in Pembroke. Tony was born in Laurel, MD on July 9, 1968, son of Deanna Pearson-Dana and Thomas LeBretton Sr. Anthony is survived by his loving wife Philomene (Dana) LeBretton; daughters Brianna and Tia LeBretton of Old Town and their mother Sonya Easley of Old Town; three step-children, Alice and Marion Look of Pleasant Point and Augustus Look of Pembroke; his mother Deanna Pearson-Dana and stepfather John Dana of Brewer; his father Thomas LeBretton Sr. of Phoenix, AZ; mother-in-law Barbara Newell and her companion Douglas Hatton; sisters Delia Pearson of Bangor, and Melissa LeBretton and Charlene Huerth, both of Old Town; brothers Thomas LeBretton Jr. and Todd Brown of Old Town, and Sugum Francis of Warren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Tony was a very strong, loving and caring man who would go out of his way to help anyone that needed help. He was an active outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends. Tony was a very skilled carpenter who could build and fix anything that needed to be fixed. He will be sadly missed by all. Visiting hours will begin 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his home, 59 Bayview Dr., Pleasant Point, until 3:30 p.m. Friday. A Catholic Funeral Service will be celebrated 4 p.m. Friday at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Pleasant Point. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
