Arlene Zeis

Alexander & Port Charlotte, FL – Arlene Perkins Zeis, 87, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2007 in Florida. Arlene was born in Alexander on April 5, 1920 to Ronald Perkins and Eva Cooper. She was a long time resident of Sarasota, FL and recently enjoyed her days in Port Charlotte, FL. Arlene was a proud hotel and business owner, a devoted ministers wife, a generous church volunteer, an animal lover, faithful Christian, fabulous painter, and beloved mother and sister. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Probst; a brother, Donald Perkins, and a sister, Melva Hartel. Arlene will be greatly missed by her daughters Reta O’Grady of Port Charlotte, FL, Virginia Doyle of Calais; her son, Robert McArthur of Alexander; her brothers, Fletcher Perkins of Crawford, Ivan Perkins of Casco and Sarasota, FL, and Carl Perkins of Crawford. Arlene showed great pride in her 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
