BAILEYVILLE – Brett Eldon Robichaud, 32, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 23, 2013. Brett was born to Curtis E. and Laurie A. (Beland) Robichaud in McAdam, New Brunswick on March 25, 1980. He attended school in Waterbury, CT where he graduated from Kennedy High with a major in Home Economics. Brett was a wonderful cook; he enjoyed food and loved to prepare it. He earned his cooking badge from Boy Scouts by surprising his scout leader with an amazing cornbread that he created with minimal equipment. He also loved horses and enjoyed working with them while living in Springdale, AR. Brett was always open to learning new ways of tying flies and fly fishing new places with his dad. He loved spending time with his family and just kicking back with his dad. Brett was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his cousin Matthew McClary and his uncle John Beland. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Laurie Robichaud of Springdale, AR; his father, Curtis Robichaud of Baileyville; two sisters, Melissa and Traci Robichaud and her companion, Dennis Caviasca, all of Springdale, AR; nieces and nephew, Marissa Santiago, Jordan Robichaud, and Giovanni and Gianna Caviasca; aunts, Linda Culleton and her husband, Terry of Baileyville, Ester Breau of British Columbia, Cheryl Beland of Cheshire, CT, Nancy Shy of OR and Debra Owen of Rogers, AR; uncles, John Robichaud and his wife, Hilda of CT and Kenneth Beland of Rogers, AR; Godparents, Debbie and Mike McClanaghan of Alberta; his best friend Jay Evon, of Connecticut; many extended family members and his canine companions Daisy and Bobo. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais with Father James Plourde officiating.
