Carleton R. Hatton Cooper & Parrish FL – Carleton Ralph Hatton Passed away peacefully on March 15, 2009 in Bradenton FL with his family by his side. Carleton was born in Charlotte to the late Ralph Hatton and Leta (Flood) Hatton on April 25, 1931. Carleton attended Charlotte grade school and graduated from Calais High School. On September 3, 1950 he married Elizabeth Stone, with whom he was married for 58 years. Carleton had many enjoyments in live, gardening, fishing, hunting, walking and being outdoors, but his true love was his family; he loved every minute spent with them. Carleton was a member of the Cathance Grange # 510; he worked at Georgia Pacific in Baileyville where he retired after 25 years of service. Carleton spent winters relaxing with Elizabeth in Parrish Florida where their second home has been for the past 16 years. In addition to his parents Carleton was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Everett, and Malcolm Hatton. He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Hatton; a daughter, Brenda Robb and her husband Danny of Calais; A granddaughter, Jennifer Fleming and her husband Corey of Calais; a Great-Grandson, Maxwell Fleming and several nieces and nephews. 1 hour of visiting will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church ST., Calais, with a memorial service to follow, Ernest James officiating.
