Calais and Pembroke – Carol Ann Eagan, 50, passed away February 20, 2016 at Calais Regional Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born in Calais on April 26, 1965, daughter of the late Louis and Janice (Call) Stone. She graduated from Calais High School, Class of 1983, and attended Washington County Vocational Technical Institute where she majored in Secretarial Studies.
Carol worked for the City of Calais as the tax, water, sewer collector until 1989. At that time, she worked briefly for Lane Construction in the office, Shop-n-Save, and Subway, until beginning at Treworgy Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Tech where she worked until her illness. She was a member of Orion Chapter #45 Order of the Eastern Star in Calais.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband Christopher Eagan; sister Dawn Moraisey; and her grandparents, Lewis and Rosena Stone, and Francis and Fern Call. Surviving are her husband Scott Walton of Pembroke; mother-in-law Carmella Walton of Calais; two half-sisters, Tina Stone Perkins of Baring, and Crystal Stone McPhee of Calais; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Teresa and Cressey Brazier of Calais; and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Carol’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
