Catherine Charlotte Dean

Baileyville - Catherine “Charlotte” Dean, 82, passed away at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor on Thursday, June 27, 2013 after a brief illness. Charlotte was born in Nova Scotia on October 30, 1930, daughter of the late Duncan and Elsie Walker.

She was employed by Grants and Calais Regional Hospital until her retirement. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family at the family camp on Pleasant Lake Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Lawrence “Toddy” Dean; a daughter Teri Davis; a son David Dean; and a grandson, Jamie Dean.

Charlotte is survived by one son Kevin Dean and his wife Jackie, a son-in-law, Carleton Davis, grandchildren, Tricia and her husband Kevin, Todd and his wife Kaitlin, Wendy, Davie, Jeremy, and Scotty. Charlotte also had 8 great-grandchildren Shelby, Nathan, Ryan, Lexi, Braden, Jayme, Eric, and Gage. At Charlotte`s request there will be a graveside service at the Woodland Cemetery in Baileyville 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013.
