Obituary for Cecele E Crandlemire

Vanceboro – Cecele Eileen Crandlemire, 93, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, VT. Cecele was born in Newport, VT on February 11, 1919, daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Hurditch) Vincent. On April 7, 1939, she married Reginald Crandlemire in Newport, NH. Cecele was a member of Vanceboro Methodist Church and Orion Chapter #45 Order of the Eastern Star in Calais. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Reginald “Reg” Crandlemire on Feb. 26, 2010; her sister Thelma and a brother Francis, and a granddaughter, Connie Wight. Surviving are her two children, Richard A. Crandlemire and his wife Pauline of Richford, VT, where Cecele had been spending the winter months, and Jean Hogan and her husband Al of Vanceboro; three grandchildren, C. Pitt Crandlemire II and his wife Radonna of Reading, MA, Michael Hogan of Revere, MA, and Timothy Hogan and his wife Bonnie of Rochester, NH; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; her brother Stanley Vincent and his wife Pauline of North Hampton, MA; and many nieces and nephews. A combined graveside service for Cecele and Reg will be held in the spring at Vanceboro Cemetery.
