Charlotte Elaine Dean

Calais – Charlotte Elaine Dean, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 19, 2013 at a Lubec nursing home. Charlotte was born in Calais on August 12, 1927, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Sarah “Sadie” (Moore) Hartford. She was a member of Bethel Chapel in Waite. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Dean; one sister, Pauline Smith of Florida; and a brother Philip Hartford of Texas. Surviving are her three children, Dexter Dean and his wife Neera of Naugatuck, CT, Gregory Dean and his wife Jill of Wardsboro, VT, and Lorraine Daggett and her husband David of Calais; two grandchildren, Stephen Serrano of IL and Tara Dean of CT; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Zachary of IL; and her sister Muriel Claridge of FL.
