Christine Isabelle Greenlaw (Ashby)

Lubec and Rochester, NH – Christine I. Greenlaw, 84, passed peacefully December 29, 2017 in her daughter’s home in Rochester, New Hampshire. She was born August 14, 1933, daughter of Clinton and Marietta (Hood) Ashby.

Christine loved spending time with her family. She was a kind and loving woman. She loved sending cards and receiving them. Christine loved reading her Bible and talking about the Lord.

She was loved by all who knew her, and will be sadly missed.

She is survived by her five children, Wayne Greenlaw and companion Wilma Cole of Bellingham, WA, Melborne Greenlaw of Calais, Eola (Greenlaw) Miskell and husband Daniel of Rochester, NH, Marrietta Greenlaw of Machias, and William Greenlaw and wife Elaine of Campobello Island, NB; her grandchildren, Robert, Jessica, Benjamin, Janelle, Melborne Jr., Nathaniel, Christina, Jesstine, Laura Beth and Lacy; 18 great-grandchildren; brother Clinton Ashby Jr. and wife Kathleen of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Rupert Greenlaw; son Eugene Greenlaw; daughter-in-law Ruth Greenlaw; sisters, Faye, Margarete, June, Arlene and Shirley; and two brothers, Dallas and Floyd.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 27th at Greenlawn Cemetery, Lubec. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
