Obituary for Clarence Allen Lockhart

Calais – Clarence Allen Lockhart, 47, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at a Bangor hospital with his family by his side. Clarence was born in Calais on October 2, 1965, son of Oliver and Irene (Hachey) Lockhart. He attended the Woodland High School and served in the U.S. Navy. Following his enlistment Clarence returned home and worked for Georgia Pacific, Dicenzo’s, and the Big Stop. Most recently he was employed as a carpenter. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and being with this family and friends.
Clarence was predeceased by his mother Irene Lockhart. Surviving are his loving wife Bonny (Young) Lockhart; 3 children, Carol Lockhart of Auburn, Rebecca Lockhart of Fort Worth, TX, and Kyle Hall of Calais; a granddaughter Makenzie Lewis; his father Oliver Lockhart Sr. and his wife Julie of Danforth; two sisters, Kim Farrell-Goodwin of St. Stephen, NB, and Darlene Cormier of Colorado; a brother Oliver Lockhart Jr. of Princeton; three brothers-in-law, Scott Young of Eastport, Richard Young of Calais, and Roger Young of Eastport; a sister-in-law Penny Young of Eastport; nephews, Dalton, Richard, Scott, and Roger Young; nieces, Heather Kestler and Tina Kestler of Florida; a great-niece Jade Yutzy of St. Stephen, NB; numerous friends including dear friends Scott Oliver, Tina Ham, and Moses and Susan Cilley, all of Princeton; his faithful canine companions, Baby, Kayleigh, and Duke; and his feline companion R.B.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at South Princeton Cemetery. A celebration of Clarence’s life followed at the Princeton Rod & Gun Club.
