Claysie G. Harvey

Claysie Gene Harvey, 47, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023, with loving family by her side. Claysie enjoyed nothing more than being in the outdoors, bowling at the Spednic Club and spending time with her large and loving family. Claysie was known for her smile and infectious laughter. Those close to her also know of her enormous heart and loving nature. The memories she made and shared throughout her life will be forever cherished by friends and family.

Claysie was predeceased by her grandparents Albert O. Harvey and Betty Doten Kneeland, Alton and Ellen Clark, her uncle Albert Jr., and father Thomas “Buster” Harvey, along with beloved aunt Jennie Brown. She will be remembered by her loving fiancé Rodney Clark; her children Clay Plourde, Raven Plourde and fiancé Brent Drawz, and Tracey Plourde; mother and stepfather Janice and James Curtis; sisters Shannon Small and husband Howard, Lindy Goodrich and husband Ryan, Jamie Reppert and husband Levi; brothers Josh Curtis and wife Alecia, Adam Curtis and wife Toni; two grandchildren Ryker and Zoey; nieces and nephews Little Howard, Elaine, Ada, David, Oliver, Joe and Victoria.

For those who would like to pay respect, there will be a graveside service held at 11 A.M. on September 30 at the South Princeton Cemetery immediately followed by memorial service at the American Legion in Baileyville. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to PAWS in honor of Claysie’s love of animals. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
