Darrell L. Copeland

Darrell Leon Copeland, 70, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Princeton on Thursday, November 10^th, 2022. Darrell was born on July 23^rd, 1952 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Raymond and Ruth (Byman) Copeland.

Darrell was a plain-spoken, intelligent man. He was an engineer for Dean Tech and loved fishing, building, drawing, and computer modeling. He had always wanted to retire to Maine and finally in 2014 he moved to Princeton with his wife Sandra Michelle.

Darrell was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his two brothers Brad and his wife Judy Copeland of Ramsey Minnesota, and Brian and his wife Dawn Copeland of Elk River Minnesota; His three children Brent and his wife Sunshine Copeland of El Paso Texas, Angela and her husband Guy Heath of Grifton North Carolina, and Brittney and her husband Mike Wickert of Manassa Virginia; as well as a few grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

In keeping with Darrell’s wishes a service will be held on a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Woodland Baptist Church at PO Box 741 Baileyville, ME marked to ‘Benevolence’. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home Calais & Eastport.
