David H Frank

EASTPORT – David H. Frank, 85, passed away at Down East Community Hospital on March 4, 2014 after a short illness. He was born to Joseph and Ethel (Mann) Frank on July 5, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA. David was proud to have served his country with the United States Army, completing a tour in Germany before an honorable discharge. On October 4, 1953 David was married to Linda Barkin in Bronx, New York. He attended New York University and graduated as a Certified Public Accountant in 1953. In addition to his parents David was predeceased by his sister, Beatrice Bloch and two brothers, Irving and Samuel Frank. Survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Linda Frank; two children, Edrea Bakas and her husband James of Moultonborough, NH and Andrew Frank and his wife Julie of OR; three grandchildren, Rachel and Jessica Bakas, both of Moultonborough, NH and Gregory Frank of OR and his brother, Fred Frank of FL. David will be sadly missed and remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
