Calais – Donna Sara Hornbrook, 66, died Thursday, February 21, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. Donna was born in St. Stephen, N.B. on October 24, 1941, daughter of the late Ralph and Elva (Clement) McLean. She was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Calais. Donna enjoyed knitting, cooking, dancing, playing the accordion, listening to country music, and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” Hornbrook. Surviving are her son, Gregg Hornbrook and his wife Michelle of Calais; her daughter, Julia Boies and her husband Michael of Baileyville; three sisters, Norma McLean of Calais, Barbara Maenhout and her husband Robert of Calais, and Linda Shreve and her husband Michael of Nova Scotia; five grandchildren, Kristen, Scott and Sara Boies, and Derrick and Nicholas White; a dear friend, Theresa Case of Calais; and many nieces and nephews. Donna will also be sadly missed by her neighbors and many other friends.
