Edgar A. Rhoades

Edgar A. Rhoades, age 59, passed away on December 29, 2015 in Topsfield, Maine, after being struck by an SUV while snowblowing his driveway. He was born August 10, 1956 in Topsfield, Maine, the son of the late John and Barbara Rhoades.

He was a Lee Academy alumnus and worked for the Maine Department of Transportation in Topsfield for 27 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and reading.

Edgar is survived by his wife Cindy of 33 years and children Mark, Michelle, and Melissa. He was predeceased by his sister Gail and her husband Gus (Jason) and his father-in-law Horace DeWitt. He is also survived by his siblings Grace Hraba and husband Rick, Daniel Rhoades and wife Joyce, Mary Rhoades, Marion Monk and husband Vaughn; mother-in-law Kathleen DeWitt; sister-in-law Rhonda Beach and husband Arthur; brother-in-law Sidney DeWitt and wife Jane; brother-in-law Brian DeWitt; and several aunts, uncles nieces, and nephews.
