Obituary for Edward Colson Fales

Calais – Edward Colson Fales III, 49, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 24, 2006 as a result of an automobile accident. Colson was born in Calais, September 3, 1957, son of Betsey Jane (Youngs) Fales and the late Edward Colson Fales Jr. He was a self employed contractor, owning and operating E.C. Fales Construction Company for several years. Colson was a member of New England Carpenters Union, Big Bucks of Maine, and Boone & Crockett Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skiing, and spending time with his family, especially his two children. Colson is survived by his mother, Betsey Jane Fales of Ormond Beach, FL; his two children, Edward “E.C.” Colson Fales IV and Ashley Jo Fales, both of Calais, and their mother Mary Fales of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Jennifer Faye Campbell of Ormond Beach, FL and Elizabeth Faith Fales of Ashland, OR; a brother, Eugene Carson Fales and his wife Connie McMahon of Yokohama, Japan; a niece, Shanti Acacia Das; a nephew, Ryan Nicholas Campbell; two aunts, Laura Schaefer and her husband Stephen of Grand Lake Stream, and Mary Teemley of Ripley, NY; a special cousin, Ronnie Stubbe of North East, PA; and many special friends.
