Elisabeth K. Beal, a loving and compassionate soul, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on December 17, 1959, in Lubec, Maine, Elisabeth led a life marked by kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones in Perry, Maine.
Elisabeth was known for her warm heart and readiness to help those in need. She embodied a unique blend of gentleness and strength, standing firmly for what was right. Her family was her world, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their happiness and well-being.
A dedicated worker and a resilient woman, Elisabeth set an inspiring example for those around her. She had a deep love for animals and nature, finding joy in the beauty of the outdoors and the bounty it offered.
Elisabeth was predeceased by her parents, Forrest and Juanita “Poppy” Carter; her uncles William Redding and Francis Carter; her aunts Katie Carter and Pauline Cantwell; and her late husband of 32 years, Harold “Skip” Beal. She is survived by her sisters, Juanita Carter and Maryanne Spearin (husband Ronald); her son Forrest Beal (wife Heidi) and their children Peyton, Sierra, Trinity, and Dalton; her daughter Tiffany Levasseur (husband Scott) and their children Brice, Casey, Anthony, and Ben; five great-grandchildren; her loving nephew Ronald Spearin, whom she affectionately called "Little"; her cherished aunt, Helen Redding; and many treasured nieces, nephews, and cousins, including two very close cousins, Walt Cantwell (Judy) and Sherry Parks.
Elisabeth's legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ironworks Methodist Church in Pembroke.
A memorial service will be held on August 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Ironworks Methodist Church in Pembroke on River Road. Following the service, please join the family for a celebration of life gathering with refreshments at Forrest and Heidi Beal’s home, 105 Little Egypt Road, Perry. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
