Elizabeth Catherine Krider

COOPER – Elizabeth Catherine Krider, 70, passed away at her home on November 17, 2013. Betty was born to Louis and Antoinette (Carito) DiStefano on January 13, 1943 in Worcester, MA where she grew up and graduated from Commerce High School, class of 1961. It was in Worcester where she met William Krider with whom she later married on October 17, 1964. Betty’s love of cooking was inherent from her mother from a very young age. They enjoyed countless hours together in the kitchen and it showed in every dish she served. Betty and Bill moved to Cooper in June of 1981. She was a Communicant of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Calais. In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by infant twin brothers. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, William I. Krider; two sons, William I. Krider Jr. of Cooper and John D. Krider and his wife Gina of Northborough, MA; two sisters, Rosemarie Dolan and her husband Mark of Oakham, MA and Antoinette Bonner and her husband Bruce of Millbury, MA; two Godchildren, Louis Besaw and his wife Paula of Lester, MA and Megan Morgan and her husband Jason of Erie, PA; her close friends, Maryellen Poulin of Alexander, Marie Emerson of Addison and Jeannie Tonizzo of Pembroke and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 23rd at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church with Father Robert Lupo officiating.
