Elizabeth Mary Tingley

Calais – Elizabeth M. “Lib” Tingley, 97, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Atlantic Rehab & Nursing Center in Calais. Lib was born in Calais on September 14, 1913. She graduated from Calais Academy in 1931 and was a member of the First Congregational Church of Calais, Calais Hospital Auxiliary, Rebecca Lodge, Orion Chapter #45 Order of the Eastern Star, and St. Croix Bowling Club. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Murray in 1975. Surviving are her son James W. Tingley and his wife Kathy Ellen of Arlington, TX; her daughter Kay Morrison and her husband Leo, whom Lib always referred to as her “other son”; four grandchildren Randy, Craig and his wife Stephanie of Calais, and Murray and Catherine of Arlington, TX; and seven great-grandchildren, Samantha Arsenault and her husband Jamie of Grand Prairie, A.B., Randy “Bubba”, Krista and Adam all of Calais, and Brittney, Isaac and Alondra all of Texas. Lib has dear friends of all ages and is loved by family and friends alike. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
