Ella Jane DeVoe (Stover)

Lambert Lake – Ella Jane DeVoe, 83, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Ella was born in Lambert Lake on June 27, 1933 to Ernest and Birdie (Spaulding) Stover. She worked for many years at Pine Point Camps and enjoyed fishing, cooking and canning. Ella loved playing Bingo and poker.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard DeVoe; six sisters; and one brother. Surviving are her four children, Danny and Mike of Lambert Lake, Becky and her companion Steve of Vanceboro, and Ricky and his wife Melanie of Baileyville; her loving cat Dexter; sister-in-law Kathleen Stover of Scarborough; brother-in-law Robert DeVoe and wife Liz of Bangor; and best friends Coral Grass, Norma Dyer and Judy Grass.

A graveside service will be held 12 noon Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Vanceboro Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
