Estella Phoebe Farnham

Calais – Estella Phoebe Farnham, 97, died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Calais Regional Hospital. Estella was born in Harvey, N.B. Canada on September 22, 1910, daughter of the late Thomas and Ada (Golding) Harris. She was a member of the Vanceboro Methodist Church and enjoyed traveling and knitting. Estella was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Farnham; five sisters and three brothers. Surviving are her children, Aleta Fitzgerald of Providence, R.I., Dorothy Brooks and her husband Delmer of Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, Thomas Farnham and his wife Andrea of Calais, Priscilla Harrison of Summerfield, FL, and Bonita Wagner of Farmington; twenty-one grandchildren, thirty six great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Estella’s Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 6, at the Vanceboro Methodist Church, High St., Vanceboro. Burial will follow in the Vanceboro Cemetery.
