Florence Tucker Camick

Eastport – Florence Tucker Camick, 100, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. Florence was born in Eastport on March 10, 1910, daughter of the late Warren and Susan (Newman) Tucker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Florence attended Central Congregational Church in Eastport and was a Senior Companion for 26 years. She also was a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and spent 20 years as a helper at Eastport Meals for ME. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William H. Camick; a son Harold Robert Keezer; granddaughter Janet (Keezer) Townsend; sister Edna (Tucker) Cebula; and brothers Joseph, Allen, Edward and Harry Tucker. Surviving are her two children; son Kenneth H. Camick and his wife Joann of Belfast; daughter Virginia C. Emery and her husband John of Topsham; daughter-in-law Hazel Keezer of Eastport; grandchildren Karen Emery of Falmouth, Michael Emery of Holden, MA, Brenda Stevens of Acworth, GA, Kenneth Camick of Augusta, Lori Cuatt of FL, William Camick of Acworth, GA, David Keezer of Bangor, and Elizabeth Keezer of Norfolk, VA; thirteen great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
