Gale Dearborn Parker (Dearborn)

Eastport – Gale Dearborn Parker, 83, died February 4, 2015 in Brunswick. Gale was born to Clarence Chester and Ruth (Loud) Dearborn on April 8, 1931 in Bangor. She attended schools in Bangor and Brewer before moving to Eastport in 1944 where she graduated from Shead Memorial High School, class of 1948. Gale was a past member of both the Seaside Temple and Past Chief Club; she also served on the board of Waterview Terrace. In addition to her parents Gale was predeceased by her husband Lawrence and two sisters, Rhoda Betts and Sonya Dearborn. Survivors include her three children, Nancylee Dow and her husband Lawrence of Brooksville, G. Raye Parker and Anita Parker of Bowdoin and Wandalee Parker and her fiancé Richard Simpson of Eastport; three grandchildren, Matthew Dow of Brooksville, C.J. Dow and his wife Wendy of Brooksville and Jennifer Swanson and her husband Bruce of Bowdoin and five great grandchildren, Zachery Dow, Parker Swanson, Blake Dow, Tucker Swanson and Zoe Dow. In following with Gale’s wishes there will be no service. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
