Gary Singer

Baileyville – Gary Raymond Singer, 62, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center surrounded by his family. Gary was born in Ajax, Ontario on March 9, 1957, son of Lawrence “Ray” and Norma (Platt) Singer.

Gary was raised in Ontario but eventually settled in Maine. On August 2, 1980, he married his love, Rhonda Wallace. Gary started his career 28 years ago as a millwright with St. Croix Paper Co., now Woodland Pulp LLC. He loved spending time on the ocean sailing and enjoyed hockey, being an avid Bruins fan. Gary loved being a son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His most cherished moments were spending time with his family.

Gary was predeceased by his father Ray. Surviving are his mother, Norma Singer of NS; his beloved wife of 39 years, Rhonda Singer; two daughters, Jessica Wilson of Saco and Alicia Wilson of Gorham; his granddaughter Rylee whom he loved dearly; three sisters, Susan Boudreau and husband David of NS, Carolyn Savage and husband John of ON, and Marlene Turcotte and husband Kevin of ON; three sisters-in-law, Stephanie Williams and husband Raymond of NB, Kim Potter and husband Wayne of Oakland, and Valerie Robinson and husband James of Alabama; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Woodland Cemetery, Ryan Rd., Baileyville. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
