George Shirley Marshall

Calais – George Shirley Marshall, 76, died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at his residence. George was born in Calais, April 25, 1929, son of the late Frank and Bertha (Neddeau) Marshall. He served during the Korean Conflict in the US Army. George was employed for many years as a truck driver for Dicenzos, retiring in 1992. He was predeceased by two sisters, Erlis Seamans and Rita Day. Surviving are his daughter, Darlene Carr and husband Michael of Hedgesville, WV; a son, Gregg Marshall and wife Andrea of Lisbon Falls; a sister, Pauline Kirby of Poway, CA; two grandchildren, Jason Carr and Cayla Marshall; a great-grandson Matthew Carr; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Calais Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais.
