Gerald Francis Lee

PERRY & WISCASSET – Gerald Francis Lee, 88, was surrounded by family when he went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2012 at his home in Wiscasset. Gerald was born in Eastport on January 31, 1924 to Ambrose and Winifred (Whalen) Lee. Gerry and his wife Bertha were devote members of the 1st Baptist Church in Portland for many years until they moved to Perry where they joined the Perry Bible Fellowship where he remained a member until his passing. Gerry’s love for reading the Bible led him and Bertha to be very active with the Gideon’s. It was easy for one to see that Gerry loved the Lord with all his heart; he will be remembered for his visitation and soul winning during his membership at both churches. In addition to his parents Gerald was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Bertha (Taylor), on April 21, 2006. He will be deeply missed by his two children, Winifred Musolff and her husband, Steve, of Wiscasset and Roy Lee and his wife, Carol of Eastport; his five grandchildren, Roiann Chabot of FL, Danny Lee of RI, Michelle Marsh of Eastport, Amanda Musolff of Wiscasset and Samuel Musolff of Hancock and a great granddaughter, Lydia Lee of RI. Visitation and a celebration of Gerry’s life were held on Monday June 25th at Perry Bible Fellowship, 1292 US Route 1, Perry. Burial followed at Hillside Cemetery in Eastport.
