Calais – Gerald Warren Merrill, 72, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Calais Regional Hospital. Surviving are his son, 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren, 2 brothers and a sister. A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Baring Baptist Church on Front St. in Baring. Donations in Gerald’s memory may be made to Down East Hospice, 24 Hospital Ln, Calais, ME 04619.
