Geraldine Vivian Day

Baring - Geraldine Vivian (Scott) Day, 88, passed peacefully Friday, January 18, 2013. Geraldine was born February 29, 1924 in St. Croix, NB, the daughter of Laura and Eddy Scott.. She was predeceased by her husband, Calvert E. Day and son, David E. Day. Geraldine is survived by her children, Donna Kreizenbeck and husband Mark, Harvey Day, Cal Day and wife Kathleen, Al Day and wife Kathryn, Laura Wilson and husband Robert, Leslie Day, Lynn Day, her last surviving sister, Vera (Scott) Beach, and her many nieces and nephews. Geraldine took pride in her 18 grandchildren and her many great grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Visiting hours will be held 6-7 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais, where a celebration of her life will begin at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in Geraldine’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
