Obituary for Gloria Ann Waycott

Calais – Gloria Ann Waycott, 59, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 at her home surrounded by family. Gloria was born in Upper Mills, N.B. on April 22, 1948, daughter of Joseph and Marion (Amon) McCray. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph McCray. Surviving are her mother, Marion McCray of Upper Mills, N.B.; four children, Joey Waycott of Clinton, Jason Waycott of Calais, Mark Waycott of Baileyville, and Ericka Tracy of Calais; two sisters, Joanie Reynolds and her husband David of Upper Mills, N.B., and Nancy Desjardins of Illinois; a brother, Danny McCray and his wife Jackie of Upper Mills, N.B.; four grandchildren, Madyson, Riley, Josie, and Savanah Waycott; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends. Friends may call 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, January 6 at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. A Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the Second Baptist Church, Church St., Calais. Burial will follow in Calais Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria’s memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Bangor, 654 State St., Bangor, ME 04401
