Eastport – Harry Judson Knowlton, 89, died on March 25, 2010 at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. He was born in Perry to Emery and Susie (Armstrong) Knowlton on August 2, 1920. He spent most of his life on his parent’s dairy farm in Perry in which he later owned in partnership with his brother Lloyd; he was known as the milk man by many as he delivered in Perry and all the surrounding towns. He was a member of the Pembroke Grange and the Eastern Lodge #7 A.F. & A.M. in Eastport. Harry Married Jane Pettigrew on March 2, 1977 in Eastport where they resided together. In addition to his parents Harry was predeceased by his brother Lloyd. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Jane Knowlton; his daughter, Phyllis Statz and her husband, Carl of MO; two step children, Muriel Randall and her companion Wayne Cushing of Pembroke, and Stephen Randall and his wife Lillian of Eastport; several grandchildren and one special granddaughter, Sheila Wilke of OH; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Elliot Moore, Barbara Owens, Ralph and Joan Sullivan and Merle Sprague. Burial was in Bayside Cemetery, Eastport. Arrangements are in the care of Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
