Helen Theresa Zilenski

Indian Township – Helen Theresa Zilenski, 77, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 surrounded by her family at a Bangor hospital. Helen was born in Peter Dana Point on October 26, 1930, daughter of the late Horace and Mary Rose (Tomah) Lola. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Philomene Dana, Hannah Harnois, Mary Lou Tomah, and Lucille Moore; a son, Thomas Lola; and a great great granddaughter, Abagail Francis. Surviving are her daughter, Bernadette Francis and her husband Gene Wayne of Pleasant Point; a special friend, Adam Zilenski; sisters, Pauline Neptune and her husband Noel of Pleasant Point, Mary T. Downing of Peter Dana Point, and Stella Neptune of Indian Township; grandchildren, Mary Rose Socoby and her husband Adam, Shawn Socoby and his friend Crystal Leather, Zuo Francis and his wife Lee of Indian Island, and Christopher Francis and his wife Kanni; great grandchildren, R.J. Levesque Jr., Thomas Libby, Felisia Tomah, Emma Jean and Dakota Leather, and Benjamin and William Francis; special nephews, Justin Lola and Shawn Picard; and many other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Finer and the nurses at Calais Regional Hospital, and to Dr. B, Dr. Leiver and the nurses and staff at EMMC. Friends may call starting 1 p.m. Tuesday at 480 Peter Dana Point Rd., Indian Township until 9 a.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Frank Morin 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Mission, Peter Dana Point.
