James G. Bailey

James Guy Bailey, 54, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 1, 2024. James was born April 5, 1970, in Brunswick, Maine. Jamie graduated from Woodland High School in 1988.

Jamie was an excellent carpenter. At a young age Jamie took an interest in motors. He could repair and fix anything. Jamie enjoyed working and spending time in Nantucket, Mass, where he worked as a carpenter and roofer for over twenty years.

Jamie is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Linda Bailey; two brothers, Daniel Bailey and Nicole, and Eric Bailey; two nephews, Kaiden Spinney and Westen Bailey; two nieces, Emma and Meghan Bailey; aunts and uncles Brenda and Mark Rogers, Richard Rogers and Elizabeth, Peggy Burke, and Robert and Tammy Bailey; several cousins; and his lifelong friend, Eddie Blash. Jamie was predeceased by his grandparents, Jack and Gerrie Rogers, and Guy and Barbara Bailey; and Aunt Linda Beals.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Grand Lake Stream Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home.
