Janet L Stone

Eastport – Janet L. Stone, 69, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at the Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. Janet was born in Boston, Mass., on October 11, 1939, daughter of the late Joseph Jellow Sr. and Mary (Povelka) Jellow. She worked as a secretary for various companies until her retirement. In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Jellow Jr.; and two sisters, Dolly and Marguerite. Surviving are her cousin, Susan Schaefer of Park Ridge, IL; and dear friend, Judy and Frank Ayres and Diana Boones, all of Eastport. A celebration of Janet’s life will be celebrated next year at Mays Funeral Home – Flagg Chapel, 72 High St., Eastport.
