Jeffrey Brett Pederson

Alexander – Jeffrey B. Pederson, 43, passed away on March 3, 2008 at Calais Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Jeff was born in Rolla, N.D. on November 29, 1964, son of Anna and Peder Pederson. He graduated from Rolla High School in 1983 and attended trade school in Bismark, N.D., where he became an Electrical Lineman. Jeff moved to Maine in 1988 to work for Three Phase Electrical. He worked as an electrician throughout New England for the past 22 years. Jeff was predeceased by his father, Peder Pederson in 2006. Surviving are his wife, Nina (McVicar) Pederson of Alexander; a son, Arthur Allen and his wife Mindy of Alexander; daughters, Brandy Allen and her companion Gary Townsend of Baileyville, and Amanda Allen and her companion Heath of Princeton; eight grandchildren, Devain, Kristina, Brandon, Tianna, Nathan, Jonathan, Sarah and Wyatt; his mother, Anna Pederson of Rolla, ND; a sister, Lisa Bassingthwaite and her husband Mike of Whapeton, ND; eight brothers, Jerry and his wife Sue of San Bernardino, CA, Craig and his wife Pam of Townsend, WI, Tim of Columbus, GA, Paul of Grand Forks, ND; Jim and his companion Pam of Grand Forks, ND, Scott and his wife Shauna of Mesa, AZ, Blake of Glendale, AZ, and Todd and his wife Joan of Glendale, AZ; a special mother-in-law, Gertrude McVicar of Calais; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Parmetier and her husband Chuck of FL, and Jennie Kinney and her husband Rusty of Baileyville; two brothers-in-law, Hazen McVicar and his wife Tina of KS, and Kenneth McVicar of Showhegan; two special friends, Joe and Ed of Calais; and many nieces and nephews. Jeff will be dearly missed by family and friends. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
