Jill A. Provencher

Jill Ann “Mumzy” “AJ” (Seger) Provencher passed away at her home in Meddybemps, Maine, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the age of 54.  Jill was born in Stratford, New Jersey on December 17, 1968, daughter of Daniel and Lynda Seger.

As a child, the family moved to Tower Hill, New Brunswick, where Jill grew up, and graduated from St. Stephen High School.  She started her career at Coastal Glass at the age of 18.  She also worked many years as a manager for Sherwin-Williams Paint Store and is a well-known member of the business community.  Jill enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time in the outdoors with her husband, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife. 

Jill was predeceased by her father Daniel Seger Sr.; her brother Daniel Seger Jr.; son-in-law David W. Leavitt; and a granddaughter Natalie Lynn Leavitt.  Surviving are her husband James Provencher; daughters Abby Woodside and Maggie Leavitt; step-sons James Provencher and wife Chanise, and Nicholas Provencher; grandchildren, Alexis, Cole, Cadence, Arielle, Myla, Lil James, and Dean who were her absolute pride and joy and whom she loved more than anything; her mother Lynda (Seger) Cole and husband Donald; sister Deb O’Neill and husband Jeff; and nieces Michaela and husband Dan, Jayden, and Isabella.
