Jo-Ann Georgette Caron

Calais – Jo-Ann Georgette Caron , 61, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Down East Community Hospital after a brief heroic struggle with cancer. Jo-Ann was born in Lewiston on December 17, 1948, daughter of Rita Dube (Bell) and Wallace Dube. She traveled throughout the U.S. and Alaska supporting her husband and family. Jo-Ann worked as a professional photographer and graphic designer. She was the woman who quietly made great things happened all around her. In addition to her parents, Jo-Ann was predeceased by a brother, Michael Dube. Surviving are her husband of 43 years David Caron of Calais; sons Michael Caron of Merrimack, NH, Mark Caron of Dalian, People’s Republic of China, and Matthew Caron of Litchfield; her sister Louise Gastonguay of Cortland, VA; brothers Dennis Dube of Lewiston, and Paul Dube of Paris, ME; and grandchildren Nicole, Joshua and Alexander.
