Joanne Marie Harvey

Baileyville – Joanne Marie Harvey, 57, passed away Wednesday, December 08, 2010 with her loving family by her side at Calais Regional Hospital. Joanne was born in Baileyville on December 28, 1952, daughter of the late Daniel and Alma (McCurdy) Harvey. She was a member of People’s United Methodist Church in Baileyville, the Spednic Club and Unit #3 American Legion Auxiliary in Calais. Joanne loved spending time with her family, dancing, and going to Hollywood Slots. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Ryan Farrar. Surviving are her son, Raymond Farrar Jr. and his wife Laurie of Warren; four grandchildren, Michael Scott of Kenduskeag, Brittany Farrar of Warren, Timothy Farrar of Warren, and Meghan Farrar of Warren; three sisters, Arlene Blaney and her husband Richard of Baileyville, Marilyn Morrell and her husband Gerald of Tower Hill, NB, and Sandra Crosby and her husband Frank of Baileyville; two brothers, Daniel Harvey and his wife Linda of Baileyville, and John Harvey and his wife Kelli of Baileyville; her life-long special friend, Raymond Farrar Sr. of Baileyville; two aunts Bernice Tracy and her husband Amos, and Dorothy McCurdy; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Baring Cemetery. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
