Kenneth James Battista

Grand Lake Stream – Kenneth James Battista, 58, beloved husband, father and grandfather, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Kenny served in Vietnam with Mike Co. 3rd Battlion 2nd Marine Division. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0023 in Baileyville. He loved the Red Sox, woodworking and helping his friends whenever they needed it. Kenny was predeceased by his father, James Battista; and grandparents, Kenneth and Anne Stanchfield. He is survived by his wife Christy Battista of Grand Lake Stream; children, Shannon Campbell and her husband Scott of Princeton, Anthony Battista of WA, and Kimberly Battista of Bangor; grandchildren, Ashley and Trevor; his mother, Norma Battista; and his sisters, brother and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his canine companion, Tatum. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
