Obituary for Kyle Robert Cox

BAILEYVILLE – Kyle Robert Cox, 47, passed away at his home unexpectedly on Friday, November 30, 2012. He was born to Edward and Jenny (Newlends) Cox in Calais on May 15, 1965. Kyle married Sherry Leavitt on June 25, 1994 at Red Beach. Together they had two sons who were Kyle’s pride and joy. He had many enjoyments in life, hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers and spending time at camp but it was always with his boys. He followed them in their sports and he especially loved to take them to target practice and to play catch in the front yard. Kyle was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the Rams. He will be sadly missed. In addition to his parents, Kyle was predeceased by his grandparents, Clarence and Helen Cox and his brother, Brian Cox. He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 23 years, Sherry Cox; two sons, Zachary Cox, USMC, of Jacksonville, NC and Wyatt Cox of Baileyville; sister, Cindy (Cox) Russell of Calais; two brothers, Jay Cox and his wife Sandra of Calais and Gregory Cox and his wife Wanda of Baileyville; father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Eileen Leavitt of Calais; brother-in-law Edward Leavitt Jr. of Calais; two sisters-in-law Wendy Brownrigg and her husband Paul of Tower Hill, NB, and Melanie Howard and her husband Travis of Crawford Lake; 13 nieces and nephews, Lucas, Drake, Brooke, Riley, Jesse, Jenny, Amy, Nicole, Rebecca, Sarah, Kael, Gracie and his “John Wayne buddy”, Gage; and a dear friends, Stephen Lincoln Sr. A graveside service will be held at 1:00p.m., Thursday, December 6th at Woodland Cemetery, Baileyville with Pastor Keith Moody officiating.
