Milltown - Linda Arlene (Clark) McPhee, 69, of Milltown, ME passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
Born July 26, 1951, the youngest of six children, to Lloyd & Sara Jean (Moffit) Clark in Milltown, ME. With a love and appreciation for the outdoors instilled by her father, Linda grew up with summers spent at the family camp on Howard Lake with her siblings, Stanley, Darrell, Arnold, Karen Sue, and Phillip.
Linda graduated from Calais Memorial High School in 1969. Prior to starting her family, she was employed by Ware Knitters and Hathaway Shirt Factory in Calais. Most will remember Linda’s laugh and friendly greeting from behind the deli counter at Bells IGA, where she ultimately retired in 2019. Linda spent many falls making wreaths at Mingo’s Wreath Factory in Calais.
A lifelong Milltowner, Linda was extremely proud of her hometown, but family proved to be everything to her (including friends who became family). She took great pride in all of their accomplishments; especially in the world of Blue Devil sports, where she was a staple in the crowd cheering on her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Recent years were highlighted by summers spent riding waverunners and relaxing on Higgins Road at Meddybemps Lake.
Linda will be remembered as a devoted mother, Nannie, hard worker, and for being blessed with great friends and a loving, extensive family.
Linda is survived by her children Corey and fiancée Ashley Guy of Houlton, ME and Bradley and wife Julie of Baileyville, ME; grandchildren Allison Sequaptewa, Courtney Beaton, Kayla Walbert, Daniel McPhee, Kate McPhee, Sadie McPhee, Lucas McPhee, Isaac McPhee, Avery McPhee, Sarah McPhee; brother Stanley of Landsdowne, VA; sister-in-laws Sue Clark of Milltown, ME and Barbie Clark of Meddybemps, ME; her best friend Marlene (Body) Parks of Milltown, ME and her son Jason Parks; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
