Lois Mary Campbell

Calais – Lois M. Campbell, 87, died October 26, 2006 at a Calais nursing home. She was born August 26, 1919 in Calais, the daughter of Clifford and Mary (Reed) Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Bill. Lois was a life-long resident of Calais. She had worked at Home Radio, Bates Jewelry Store, Barnard’s Nursing Home and for many years owned Campbell’s Luncheonette on Main Street. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Jean Campbell; and special friends, Frances Sammer, Heather Ross, Maria Zientara and Lydia Dicenzo. At Lois’ request, there will be no services. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to a charity of one’s choice.
