Lou Ramsdell Urquhart (Ramsdell)

Lou Ramsdell Urquhart, 83, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2016 at Calais Regional Hospital surrounded by her family.

Lou was born January 12, 1933 to Alonzo and Clara Belle (Sullivan) Ramsdell in Perry. She married William “Buddy” Urquhart in August of 1954 and together they raised their family in Eastport where she also worked as a secretary for Merrill Trust Bank, Argenta Products and finally with the Superintendent of Eastport School Department. After retirement Lou traveled, enjoyed cruises, took trips to Foxwoods and Hollywood Casinos and most importantly, spent time with her family.

Lou is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Buddy Urquhart; her children, Glynn Urquhart and his wife Toby and Tari Camick and her husband Richard all of Eastport; grandchildren, Evan Stinson and his fiancé Mandi Thomas, Aaron Urquhart and his wife Mary Ann, David Baine and his companion Megan McAlpine, Clifton Urquhart, and Lyndsey Violette and her husband Lucas; great grandchildren, Kate Stinson, William Urquhart and his companion Janelle Pottle and Chandler Baine and her sister Jeanette Harris.

In addition to her parents Lou was predeceased by her brother George Ramsdell.
