Obituary for Lynn Marie Roderick

PRINCETON – Lynn Marie (Prout) Roderick, 55, passed away unexpectedly December 23, 2012. Lynn was born in Calais on June 7, 1957, daughter of Kathleen Prout and Roger Davis, both deceased. Lynn was also predeceased by an infant son Chad Roderick, a daughter, Christina Roderick and a sister Sharon Bonness. Lynn is survived by her husband of 35 years, Craig Roderick and her eight year old grandson, Cole who she was raising as her own, and was the light of her life, both of Princeton; two grandchildren, Ashtyn Drescher, age three, and Naydia Drescher, age one, both of FL; two step-sons, Craig Roderick II and his companion Trina Nielsen, of Baileyville and Lee Roderick and his wife Marilyn, of Meddybemps; one step-daughter, Candy Roderick and her companion Jamie Crowe, of Baileyville; five step-grandchildren, Brooke and Taylor Price, Cameron Roderick, all of Baileyville, and Mallory and Alex Roderick, of Meddybemps; two sisters, Candy Robichaud, of St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Betty Niles and her husband Dana, of Alexander; brother, Keith Prout and his wife, Brenda of Alexander; six nieces, Tina Gierlich, Tracy Bohanon, Tonya Johnson, Brandy Robichaud, Katie Clark and Ashley Prout; two nephews, Dana Niles II and Jesse Robichaud; many great nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart; mother-in-law, Barbara Roderick; sister-in-law, Linda Thompson and brother-in-law, Rod Roderick. Lynn enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and long conversations with family and friends; she especially enjoyed doing projects with her son, Cole. Lynn enjoyed spending time in Florida or anywhere the sun was shining. She was a warm, wonderful woman with a great sense of humor. Lynn will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012 at Mays Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais. Burial will be in the spring at South Princeton Cemetery.
