Mabel Foster (Greenlaw)

Calais - Mabel R. Foster, 83, passed away peacefully on June 22,2019 surround by her family in Calais. She was born on June 30, 1935 to Parker and Addie (Pike) Greenlaw.

Mabel grew up and went to school in Milltown, Maine. This was where she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Foster. Mabel became a stay at home mom to her four children they had together. Mabel enjoyed traveling with her husband Bob on their various trips, visiting with friends on her porch, and spending time with family.

Mabel was predeceased by her parents Parker and Addie (Pike) Greenlaw; her loving husband of 58 years Robert "Bob" Foster; and her son Robert "Little Bobby" Foster Jr.; her brothers Francis Greenlaw and Melvin Greenlaw; and her sisters Pauline McConvey, Marion Brown, and Lois Greenlaw.

Mabel is survived by her son Peter Foster and wife Cheryl of Calais; son Kevin Foster of Bangor; and daughter Carmen Foster and her partner Jane of Milford. Six grandchildren; Erin, Julie, Tracie, Tonya, Katie, and Robbie; and eight great-grandchildren. Also, a special nephew Bill Greenlaw and his wife Alicia.

Per Mabel's request, a private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mabel's honor can be made to Sarah's House 346 Main Road Holden, Maine 04429. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
