Mabel K. Kelley

Mabel K. (McCray) KelleyCalais – Mabel K. (McCray) Kelley, 78, died Friday, February 3, 2006 at Calais Hospital. Mabel was born in Upper Mills, N.B. April 9, 1927, daughter of the late Oswald and Edna (Thurston) McCray. She married Donald Kelley in 1945. Mabel was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #3 Calais and enjoyed playing Bingo. She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1999; two daughters, Barbara A. Kelley and Kathleen L. Kelley; three sisters and five brothers. Surviving are her two daughters, Frances Rodgers of Baring and Terry McKeown and husband Marvin of Bath; two sisters, Rosie Newman of Upper Mills, N.B. and Jean Daigle and husband Bernard of St. Stephen, N.B.; four grandchildren, Donald Rodger, Kellie Randall and husband David and son Jake, Brandy McKeown, and Toni McKeown; a special niece and nephew, Gordon and Beth Daigle; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family, Frances Rodgers, 38 Baring St. Lot #3, Calais, ME 04619.
