Robbinston - Malcolm W. Cochrane 70, formerly of Natick, MA died unexpectedly Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his home in Robbinston.
Born in Walton Nova Scotia and raised in Framingham, MA he was the son of the late John Cochrane and the late Kathleen (MacDonald) Cochrane Trinkley.
Mr. Cochrane was a Welder for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 4 for over 35 years retiring in 2000. He enjoyed sports throughout his life as a player, coach and enthusiast, loved the great outdoors, and was an avid Photographer whose sunrises were nothing short of breathtaking.
Mr. Cochrane graduated from Framingham High School in 1963 and was a member of the Boys Hockey team that won the Massachusetts State Championship in 1961.
Mr. Cochrane was a proud American and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by three children Heather C. Spurling and her husband Daniel of Natick, Erin E. Coca and her husband Jeferson of Natick, MA, Michael P.Cochrane and his wife Jessica of Natick, MA; one sister Eileen Cochrane Keane of Virginia; seven grandchildren, Shannon, Connor, Joseph Spurling, Ryan, Drew, Logan and Reese Cochrane; step brother and sister Thomas Trinkley and Linda Streck; his wife, Louann Haley of Robbinston, her children Jeffery Haley and his wife Ashley and Jennifer Haley, and dear niece and nephew Kerry Keane Conway and Barry Keane.
