Baileyville - Marc Allen Corbett, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on June 15th, 2022. Marc was born on January 16, 1967 to Paul Corbett Sr and Carla (Moores) Corbett.
Marc attended school in Baileyville, graduating high school a year early in 1984. After high school Marc did some travelling while in the army before returning home to Baileyville. Marc was always a hard worker, working a variety of jobs in his life including Domtar/Georgia Pacific for many years in the store room, as well as serving as Union President. Marc also had earned many degrees from Washington County Community College, graduating with honors.
Marc was predeceased by both sets of grandparents: Carleton and Eileen Moores and Carroll and Phyllis Corbett; his father Paul Corbett Sr., his brother Paul Corbett Jr., niece Allena Corbett as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Marc is survived by his mother Carla Corbett, daughter Carly Kneeland and husband Bronson, granddaughter Madelynn Collins, brother Steven- all of Baileyville; nieces Danielle Clark of Calais, Britney Corbett of Baileyville and Samantha Corbett of Princeton, nephew Nicholas Corbett (Skyla) of Baileyville; aunt Carolyn Bennett of Bangor and aunt and uncle Gloria and Lloyd Corbett of Baileyville, many great nieces and nephews, and his feline companion Mickey.
Marc enjoyed reading, bowling, softball, music, playing cards, horseshoes, darts and was a member of the Spednic Club in Baileyville. Marc had a great sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He was a friend to all and will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will take place Saturday, June 25th, 11AM at Woodland Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Spednic Club in Baileyville. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Calais & Eastport.
