Obituary for Margaret Delello

Margaret Boyle Delello died on Memorial Day, 2012, after a 16-year battle with breast cancer. She was 57.

Margaret was born in Bayshore, N.Y., and spent her summers in Pembroke from the time she was a baby until she began college. Margaret was graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in 1977 and she obtained her M.B.A. in pharmaceutical and chemical management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985. Margaret held various management positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb during her 33-year career with the company.

Margaret was the daughter of Milon Boyle, deceased, and Dorothy Scott Boyle of Eastport. Eastport was Margaret’s beloved second home throughout her adult life.

Margaret left behind her husband Rick and their three sons, Matthew, Jared and Jonathan. Matthew is a 2012 graduate of Cornell University and he is currently employed as a Manager with ABF Freight in Enfield, Connecticut. Jared is a 2013 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and he works for One Pixel Brush in Santa Monica, California as its Operations Manager. Jonathan is entering his sophomore year at Virginia Tech. Margaret was also survived by her brother, Michael Boyle, his wife Judy, and their daughter Caitlin Boyle Ferrara.

If you knew Margaret, please join us at her committal on Saturday, August 9 at 11 a.m., at Bayside Cemetery. Geneva Frost of the Eastport Congregational Church will officiate.
